STAR TREK AT 60 – 26th March to 8th September 2026

 

2026 marks 60 years since Star Trek first hit our screens. To celebrate this major milestone, The Science Museum partnered with Star Trek on a special season of exciting events, must-see film screenings and one incredible trail of iconic objects from the TV series and films.

 

Once you’ve completed the trail, be sure to explore the Star Trek pop-up shop where you’ll discover exclusive 60th anniversary merchandise developed by the Science Museum.

TROOPING THE COLORS – 13th June 2026

 

Trooping the Colour is a spectacular celebration of British pageantry, marking the Sovereign’s official birthday with military precision and grandeur.

 

Each June, over 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians parade along The Mall in a breathtaking display of tradition.

 

The ceremony culminates in a Royal Air Force flypast over Buckingham Palace. Steeped in history and symbolism, it is one of London’s most iconic annual events.

HARRY STYLE CONCERT – 12th, 13th, 17th, 19th, 20th & 23rd June 2026

 

International superstar Harry Styles returns to London this summer for a spectacular six-night residency at Wembley Stadium as part of his Together, Together tour, bringing his acclaimed live show to one of the capital’s most iconic venues.

Each night promises an unforgettable mix of chart-topping hits and new music from his forthcoming album, with legendary country-pop star Shania Twain joining him as special guest across the Wembley dates

ROYAL ASCOT – 16th to 20th June 2026

 

This world-famous horse racing event is considered one of the most fashionable occasions in London’s sporting calendar.

Each year, Royal Ascot is attended by members of the Royal Family, including the King. Traditionally, there is a daily horse-drawn procession from Windsor Castle to Ascot Racecourse, led by the royal carriage. Founded by Queen Anne in 1711, the race is steeped in tradition, heritage, and pageantry.

 

SLEEPING BEAUTY – 25th to 28th June 2026

 

Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s exquisite production of The Sleeping Beauty comes to the Royal Albert Hall for the first time.

For wonder and enchantment, look no further than this classic fairytale ballet: experience all that is grand, gleaming and gorgeous with English National Ballet in this stunning version of one of the world’s favourite stories.

Brimming with beautiful choreography and sumptuous costumes, by legendary designer Nicholas Georgiadis, you’ll be whisked away to an enchanted land to a story of good versus evil.

This lavish spectacle is heightened by one of Tchaikovsky’s greatest ballet scores, played live by English National Ballet Philharmonic.

 

BST HYDE PARK – 27th June to 11th July 2026

 

Each summer, BST Hyde Park transforms one of London’s most elegant green spaces into a vibrant open-air concert series.

The 2026 edition will once again bring together world-class artists, food stalls, and a lively festival atmosphere just moments from the city’s cultural landmarks.

LONDON BBC PROMS – July to September 2026

 

 

Each year the BBC Proms host two months of spectacular concerts, aiming to bring the very best in classical music to the city of London.

Shows include contemporary world premieres, family concerts and classical favourites, as well as performances from leading musicians, singers, orchestras and soloists from across the world.

The season culminates in the famous Last Night of The Proms, performed at the Royal Albert Hall – less than a mile from our front door.

 

WIMBLEDON – 29th June to 12th July 2026

 

Wimbledon is one of the UK’s proudest sporting events. Here, the world’s top players compete in what is the longest-running tennis tournament in history, and one of four annual Grand Slam tennis events held around the globe. You can experience two weeks of first-class tennis, and plenty of strawberries and cream.

The tournament attracts around 500,00 spectators each year, and millions of television viewers worldwide.

BRUNO MARS CONCERT – 18th, 19th, 22nd, 24th, 25th & 28th July 2026

 

Bruno Mars’s The Romantic Tour comes to Wembley Stadium this July 2026, marking his first full headline tour in nearly a decade and one of the biggest live music events of the summer in London.

Across six nights throughout July, the singer will perform a career-spanning set of his biggest hits alongside material from his new album The Romantic, delighting fans with his signature blend of pop, funk and R&B.

The atmosphere at Wembley promises to be electric, with the stadium’s vast scale and dynamic production providing the perfect backdrop for this highly anticipated return.

THE WEEKND CONCERT – 14th, 15th, 16th, 18th, 19th August 2026

 

The Weeknd brings his acclaimed After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour back to London this August with a run of large-scale shows at Wembley Stadium.

Spanning multiple nights, the concerts showcase his evolution from moody R&B to global pop phenomenon, delivered through a cinematic live production.

The scale of the show, paired with immersive visuals and precision staging, creates an atmosphere that builds steadily throughout the night. A defining moment of London’s summer concert season and a standout experience for live music fans.

NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL –  29th to 31st August 2026

LONDON FASHION WEEK – 17th to 21st September 2026

 

London Fashion Week is one of the most influential fashion events in the world, showcasing unique collections from top designers, emerging talent, and global brands.

Taking place twice annually, the September edition highlights Spring/Summer collections and draws in fashion editors, buyers, influencers, and celebrities.

While many runway shows are invite-only, the event also offers a growing number of public experiences with free exhibitions, designer pop-ups, styling workshops, and live talks across areas like Soho, Covent Garden, and Regent Street.

BFI 70th Film Festival – 7th to 18th October 2026

 

It is the UK’s biggest film event, an 11 day bonanza of movies, big and small, at cinemas and venues across London and other major cities in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Very much not a festival that’s just for the critics, snobs and VIPs, the LFF remains the most accessible of the world’s big film festivals.

EFG LONDON JAZZ FESTIVAL – 13th to 22nd November 2026

 

Get in the groove at the EFG London Jazz Festival, which offers 10 days of live performances at venues including Barbican, Southbank Centre and the Royal Albert Hall. Bilal, Stella Cole and Nubya Garcia are among the names on this year’s programme.

The festival was created in 1992 by live music producers Serious and celebrating its thirty-third iteration in 2025. The aims of the festival remain the same as ever; celebrating jazz and its place in London, giving artists a platform for their work, and bringing music venues across the capital to life.
