London BBC Proms - July 2024 to September 2024 and July 2025 to September 2025
Each year the BBC Proms host two months of spectacular concerts, aiming to bring the very best in classical music to the city of London. Shows include contemporary world premieres, family concerts and classical favourites, as well as performances from leading musicians, singers, orchestras and soloists from across the world. The season culminates in the famous Last Night of The Proms, performed at the Royal Albert Hall – less than a mile from our front door.
London Fashion Week – 13th September 2024 to 17th September 2024 and 20th February 2025 to 24th February 2025
London is one of the world’s most stylish cities, and the fashion pack are out in force for London Fashion Week, taking place each year in February and September. Over 250 designers works are presented to a global audience of influential media and retailers, with designers and models flying in from around the world to take the catwalks by storm. You can watch shows featuring never-before-seen designs, listen to talks by industry icons, and get first access to the hottest sales of the season. This is an unmissable event for anyone with an interest in the chic, stylish and now.
Chelsea Flower Show - 20th May 2025 to 24th May 2025
The Chelsea Flower Show is one of the world’s greatest flower and landscape garden shows. This five day celebration of gardening, organised by the Royal Horticultural Society – the world’s leading gardening charity – has been running in Chelsea since 1912, though RHS garden show dates back to 1862. Expect designs of all kinds, from colourful gardens bursting with flowers and water features, to abstract, urban creations at the cutting edge of avant garde. Green fingered guests get ready – there’s a plant sale at 4pm on the last day so make sure you’re in line to take home a little piece of nature!
London Book Fair – 11th March 2025 to 13th March 2025
The London Book Fair brings three days of knowledge, creativity and innovation to West London. It sees more than 25,000 publishing professionals arrive to learn, network and kick off their year of business. For our literary minded guests, this is a must visit event, and a chance to meet authors, listen to readings and attend free seminars covering a range of topics, including tips for budding authors. The show is at the heart of London Book and Screen Week, which aims to uncover and unite readers, writers, gamers and film fans alike.
Trooping the Colour - 14th June 2025
This colourful parade marks the King’s official birthday. Hundreds of officers, horses and musicians in ceremonial uniform lead a procession through the streets of London. Full of all the pomp and splendour you’d expect from a royal occasion, the King is escorted in a carriage from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade where he carries out an inspection of the troops, before leading the guards back to Buckingham Palace. There, he takes the salute, and guns are fired in Green Park and at the Tower of London. Finally, he joins other members of the Royal Family on the palace balcony to watch the Royal Air Force flypast at 1.00pm.
Wimbledon - 30th June 2025 to 13th July 2025
Wimbledon is one of the UK’s proudest sporting events. Here, the world’s top players compete in what is the longest-running tennis tournament in history, and one of four annual Grand Slam tennis events held around the globe. You can experience two weeks of first-class tennis, and plenty of strawberries and cream. The tournament attracts around 500,00 spectators each year, and millions of television viewers worldwide.
Royal Ascot – 17th June 2025 to 21st June 2025
This world famous horse race meeting is considered one of the most fashionable events in London’s sporting calender. Each year, Royal Ascot is attended by the members of the Royal Family, including the King himself. There is usually a daily horse – drawn processon from Windsor Castle to Ascot Racecourse, led by the royal carriage. The race was founded by Queen Anne 1711, and is steeped in tradition, heritage and page.
London Marathon – 27th April 2025
Run, walk or cheer on participants from the sidelines during one of the world’s most famous marathons. The route sees thousands of runners, both professional and amateur, compete, and takes in some of the cities most iconic sites and landmarks. Supports are always out in force and the energy is infectious, even if you’re not on the move! A sporting institution.
Frieze Art Fair - 9th October 2024 to 13th October 2024
One of the coolest dates in the London art calendar, join the gallery glitterati in Regent’s Park for the Frieze Art Fair. View, browse and buy world-class art from the best international galleries in the stunning surroundings of one of the cities most famous parks, and enjoy the food and drink menus on offer, curated by some of London’s best and most exciting restaurants.
Notting Hill Carnival – 25th August 2024 to 26th August 2024 and 24th August 2025 to 25th August 2025
Grab your friends, put on your most vibrant outfit and head to West London where you can groove to the beat at Notting Hill Carnival, Europe’s largest street festival. It can feel like all of London turns out for this weekend, where the streets are packed, spirits are high and the music is loud. A rainbow of colour, the bank holiday weekend is the perfect time to enjoy the sound systems, vibrant parades, drum bands, extravagant costumes, street food stalls and more!
