This one-of-a-kind experience, unique to The Ampersand, was inspired by the Science Museum. You can expect a mix of exciting and curious dishes, from jams served in petri dishes, to chocolate spacemen and dinosaur biscuits. Each treat is expertly prepared by our chefs, and served with tea, coffee and — if you like — Champagne. Our Science Afternoon Tea won Best Themed Afternoon Tea at the Afternoon Tea Awards 2018 and is gaining huge popularity in London.
All private Afternoon Tea bookings get complimentary hire of either our Library, Games Room and Wine Room. We accommodate groups of all kinds, from wedding parties and Christenings, to baby showers and hen dos. We can also create themed cakes if you are looking for something original.
No room hire charges are applicable for groups larger than 8 guests joining us for private afternoon tea.
