If you’re looking for a break, Spring is a particularly brilliant time to visit London, and a great season (and reason!) to make Ampersand your home away from home. Our music-inspired rooms and suites celebrate a British sense of whimsy– elaborate wallpapers, colourful plump cushions and ornate velvet headboards add quirky touches to the elegant spaces. From our suites, take in the Mary Poppins’ views of London’s skyline.
With longer days that are warming up , it feels like we are given even more time to explore the city’s green spaces and slowly get ready for summer.

Explore the wonders of the natural world and beyond at London’s best museums
There’s plenty of family friendly fun to be had, with the Natural History and Science Museums right on our doorstep. With exhibitions running throughout the year there’s always something fun and educational to keep the kids occupied and entertained.
We recommend a visit to the Science Museum and if you visit until April 2025 you will be able to discover how the Palace of Versailles used science as a tool of power in an exhibition called Versailles: Science and Splendour .
