Jurassic World Exhibition - From 23rd May 2025

 

 

 

Step into a prehistoric world at Jurassic World: The Experience, opening at Battersea Power Station.

This immersive, family-friendly exhibition brings the iconic film franchise to life with lifelike dinosaurs, including Velociraptors and the mighty T-Rex.

It is the only chance to see it in the UK this year and is located less than 30 minutes from The Ampersand Hotel.

After your adventure, continue the fun with our famous Jurassic Afternoon Tea, a deliciously themed experience inspired by the world of dinosaurs.

FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL LONDON – 12th to 23rd November

 

Taking place across two weeks in the venue’s two-screen Ciné Lumière, this bigger-than-ever edition features more than 76 screenings of 33 Gallic cinematic treats, including plenty of UK premieres of newly released films, a number of which were released to critical acclaim at Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.

From comedies to documentaries, from personal stories to social dramas and thrillers, many try to reflect on the present and the complex world we live in. With a particularly strong trend of French films with or by international actors and directors, French cinema in 2025 continues expanding beyond its borders while keeping its strength at home.

 

THE EVER AFTER GARDEN – 13th November to 16th December

 

The Ever After Garden, one of London’s most-loved festive experiences is set to return this Christmas and, for the first time, it’s lighting up Chelsea.

The Duke of York Square green will be transformed into a breathtaking display of over 30,000 illuminated white roses. Visitors are invited to pause, reflect and remember loved ones while helping to fund life-saving cancer research and care through The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

EFG London Jazz Festival – 14th to 23rd November

 

Get in the groove at the EFG London Jazz Festival, which offers 10 days of live performances at venues including Barbican, Southbank Centre and the Royal Albert Hall. Bilal, Stella Cole and Nubya Garcia are among the names on this year’s programme.

The festival was created in 1992 by live music producers Serious and celebrating its thirty-third iteration in 2025. The aims of the festival remain the same as ever; celebrating jazz and its place in London, giving artists a platform for their work, and bringing music venues across the capital to life.
