Hyde Park gets ready to rock with Andrea Bocelli, Kings of Leon and Robbie Williams at BST
Some of the city’s most popular summer destinations are right on our doorstep. For anyone seeking an urban oasis Hyde Park is a must visit. One of the most beautiful royal parks, it’s staged sell-out concerts, and seen revolutionary speakers and suffragettes take up at Speaker’s Corner. The Serpentine provides a beautiful lakeside walk, or you can cool off with a dip in one of London’s oldest Lidos after an afternoon sunbathing. The park also hosts regular guided walking tours, taking in nature and local history. Each year the park also hosts BST Hyde Park, a series of concerts with legendary headliners performing into the evening, including The Rolling Stones, Florence and the Machine and Kylie Minogue. This year will see legends like Kings of Leon on 30th June , Andrea Bocelli on 5th July and Robbie Williams on 6th July take the stage across three weekends, so whether you’re a fan of pop, rock or classical, there’s the perfect headliner for you.
